Advanced Sales – Subliminal Selling and Flirting.
Hey how you doing, I’m talking to you from my room that is my hospital room. So I’m gonna be here for a while, I started reading this book, it’s called how to fail at almost everything and still win big by Scott Adams. If you all know this guy, he’s the guy that wrote Gilbert and the Gilbert principle, he has a comic strips right here on the back. And it’s a great book, I’m already into it now I didn’t really want to talk about this book you will not find this book of my recommended page on my website because I haven’t read it yet so as I said, I don’t recommend anything on my website unless I’ve read it, I know it and it works, so at least it works for me. Well, what I did wanna talk to you guys about today is a little bit of sales now you know I might be talking about success a lot and I wrote a book on the achieving success, but I’m actually, my actual work, what I actually do is I’m a sales expert.
So I actually teach sales to companies, multinational, multi-million dollar companies. This is one of my businesses, most of you might know me as entertaining video director, others know me as a consultant but yeah I teach sales. So a few things about sales which is gonna be in my next book by the way I might even write one in the hospital, we’ll see. You know, everyone thinks they know sales but they don’t get everything in sales you know even when you’re flirting with a girl, its sales. Now let me give you a good example of this, let’s say you go out on a date with a girl, now imagine the girl could also be a customer ok but let’s just say you go out on a date with a girl and you’re, what do you take or what do you do?
Well first of all, you don’t take her to the movies, it’s cliche, it’s not because it’s cliche the reason though, the reason is, you need to be able to stand next to the girl perfectly at the bar so you can talk to and touch her. You see, we human beings work on the emotion body language, you need to you need to be able to get close and imminent. And then the next thing is, you need to be able to touch, now the way to do this for example would be every time you make a joke and the girl laughs, you will touch her a little bit right, so as time goes by, you’ll say something she’ll laugh, you know you’ll say something funny just touch her on the shoulder just lightly, don’t be one of those guys that hit the shit out of the other person.
But no, just touch her lightly you know and as time goes by, yeah you know and she gets to know you more, little bit more, little bit more touch whenever she laughs, her brain will associate this to feeling good whenever you touch her and that’s how we do brainwashing techniques as well that’s the kind of things we do in sales in timeshare. So remember to touch yes and another thing a lot of you would have noticed especially the people that know me up close and personal is ever certain speech pattern yeah. So if you know this I always finish with the word yes or year or at least I do this a lot.
Now why do I do this? First of all I give the answer to you already yes, so you’re ready just said yes, I gave you the answer, so it’s a confirmation. The second reason I do this is because if I keep on saying them in a presentation and keep on ending with yes, yes, yes and you’re used to saying yes, yes, yes and your mindset is yes, yes, yes. If I start doing alternative closes, now what are alternate closes? If I tell you what you prefer, this year you went on holiday yeah you at the beach or where you at the mountain what do you prefer, mountain view of beach view? Where do you prefer going on holiday up in the mountains or somewhere on the beach? Do you prefer the beach or the swimming pool? You prefer five-star camping, camping yes because yeah you got to be the wildlife or rather you get to connect with the nature or you can be five-star yes because it’s more you know. You want you want to relax on your vacation you want to feel good you want to you want to feel like a VIP because you deserve it because you have been working the whole year. See, I’m not just giving you a dream, I’m not just telling you thought you know I’m not putting a picture in your mind and selling just the benefits like most people do. What I’m doing is I’m getting you to make choices, I prefer the beach, I prefer camping, I prefer so you know I’m making you make choices. Now you’re making choice, choice, choice, yes, yes, yes because you are used to me, getting that yes in the presentation.
What does that do? You’re leaning towards a yes and to make a decision, a choice today yes. So basically that’s advanced sales and that’s what I’m gonna be talking about. I don’t know how often I’ll be able to be posting the videos and getting the work done, I will be doing seven days of chemotherapy and I will begin a stem cell transplant and it’s going to be shitty so whatever I could do I’ll do, I don’t want to be on camera fucked up and everything sort of swearing.
